How we help

We provide consistent, compassionate, and nonjudgmental service thanks to our network of dedicated volunteers.

Since our founding, volunteers have been the backbone of Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. They make up 90 percent of our workforce. Volunteers make it possible for our donated funds to directly assist Sailors, Marines, and their families.

We’re committed to being good stewards of the generous gifts given to support the Navy and Marine Corps community.

Gifts provide service members with urgent financial assistance, home visits and telehealth options from our Visiting Nurses, and so much more.

NMCRS programs are funded by charitable donations. We do not receive any funding from the Department of Defense.
