Trawler Fest Supports
The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

Trawler Fest, the notable cruising-under-power event, has chosen the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society as the single beneficiary of their charity auction. Since June 2007, the auction has produced over $60,000 for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. The large sum will continue to grow with each Trawler Fest event.
Produced by PassageMaker, The Trawler and Ocean Motorboat Magazine, Trawler Fest is held in Solomons, Maryland; Stuart, Florida; San Diego, California; Anacortes, Washington; and Greenport, New York. The event combines a boat show, education, and community fun into one big boating experience. Cruising enthusiasts come to explore a diverse collection of trawlers, broaden their knowledge in boating seminars, and meet and mingle with others who share their passion for the cruising-under-power lifestyle.
Each event holds a live auction allowing attendees to bid on a variety of items donated from event sponsors, exhibitors, and regional companies. The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society was a perfect choice as the recipient for all auction proceeds. Not only does the Society support a tremendous cause in which 100 percent of all proceeds are used directly, but many Trawler Fest attendees were involved or knew those involved in the armed forces. The auction provides a fun way for attendees to donate their money to a cause that is close to many Americans’ hearts and homes.
Trawler Fest looks forward to growing their support of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society and promoting the organization’s fabulous hard work as the event continues to donate funds at their upcoming 2009 events. Please go to trawlerfest.com to view details and to register.
